Full Game Summary – Star Trek: R+D USS SAGAN

DAY 1

CAPT Sun and CMDR th’Aenar meet and acquaint themselves with the USS Sagan’s bridge before the crew assembles for a speech from the captain. The crew settles into their new bunks.
Doctor Uhen and Nurse Kotri meet each other and Nurse Emma before they start performing routine crew physicals.
Doctor Vier introduces Chuck to LT CMDR Jarit Del and LT T’ira and (with Lt Naja Alii) they go through the traumatizing process of settling Chuck on the Sagan.
CMDR th’Aenar tasks LT CMDR Ullu to interview security officers for away missions.
CMDR Del and LT T’ira meet the IYMPs: Jacob, Tal and Sarza.
Del helps a nervous Chuck settle in.

DAY 2

LT CMDR Ullu interviews ENS Leland Patel for a go-to away mission security officer.
Doctor Uhen and Nurse Kotri run a medical emergency simulation in the holodeck to acquaint themselves with each other professionally in preparation for testing the Emma program.
In the hallways, Patel comes across a stuffed toy which disappears in his hands when he picks it up. He reports this to Ullu and when the security footage is examined, it shows nothing in the hallway with Patel. He’s sent to the sickbay for a checkup.
On the bridge, Commander th’Aenar’s mother calls.
While Ullu and Uhen are having lunch in the officer’s mess hall, Jem’hadar soldiers burst in.
Korin is introduced to the IYMP students and the group spends some time making art.
Upon returning from a specimen delivery, LT Zizik experiences a transporter accident that splits him into a good version and an evil version. Commander th’Aenar loses his vision. Evil Zizik is taken to security while timid Zizik and th’Aenar head to sickbay.
Back in the mess hall, the Jem’hadar open fire but after moments, they disappear.
In sickbay, it’s discovered that th’Aenar and Zizik are exhibiting massive telepathic activity outside their own awareness.
Security footage shows no Jem’hadar in the mess hall. Ullu delivers evil Zizik to sickbay where it’s discovered that he doesn’t exist. The captain orders all telepathic and empathic crewmembers to report to sickbay.
In the IYMP bay, Jarit, Korin and the IYMPs experience a power outage and ominous growls in the darkness.
It’s determined that the source of these hallucinations are the result of an airborne spore which causes telepaths to project their fears and anxieties to all around them.
While Chuck and Naja are working in the engineering lab, they experience a hallucination of a fire.
Waiting for an inoculation to synthesize, the telepaths in sickbay begin to feel the physical effects of the infection. Commander th’Aenar in particular struggles with overwhelming emotions. A plan is formulated to isolate the commander on a shuttle, towed by tractor and watched over by Ferengi (impervious to the telepathic hallucinations) crewmember Crewman Tom.
On the bridge, a Bird of Prey appears and a Klingon captain threatens to destroy the Sagan and opens fire.
Naja and Chuck hunt down the plants in hydroponics that are housing the azulosis spore.
Commander th’Aenar is quarantined under the supervision of Crewman Tom.
Patel encounters a civilian who demands to see a crewmember that the computer reports being in sickbay.
A Borg cube appears and after contacting the ship, drones appear on the bridge ready to assimilate.
In sickbay, Sessik has a seizure. T’ira mind melds with him to assist getting his emotions under control.
On th’Aenar’s quarantine shuttle, Crewman Tom regales stories to distract the commander.
Patel encounters a group of officers being chased by wolves and has to escort them to the sickbay after they injure themselves in their escape.
As the engineering crew prepares to sterilize the ventilation system, a hallucination hits engineering that blacks out the computer monitors. Only partially affected by the hallucinations, Chuck is able to execute the necessary commands.
The inoculation synthesis complete, th’Aenar receives a hypospray and must wait for the effects in at least 2 hours. Shortly after, th’Aenar experiences a hallucination of the inside of the shuttle freezing over and the commander succumbs to panic. Jarit is beamed over to help him through the experience.
In the sickbay, the crew sees a hallucination of the entire room transformed into the interior of a Borg cube, complete with wandering Borg.
As the inoculation takes effect, the hallucinations subside and the patients’ condition begins to improve.
In the evening, the crew takes a collective deep breath.
Sessik approaches T’ira to express his gratitude for her assistance with the mind meld.
th’Aenar contacts his mother.
Kotri and Patel cross paths in the mess hall.

DAY 3

Following the azulosis outbreak, Korin has a nightmare about the Borg “assimilation” in the sickbay. Over breakfast, he conveys the experience to Jarit.
Sun and th’Aenar have a morning meeting and the captain invites him to join her and Ullu for a holonovel game.
Naja and Jarit have their first serious meeting about Project Blueblood.
T’ira and Naja convene on their collaboration in the disinfection of the ship, the IYMPs and Project Blueblood. Naja then escorts T’ira to spend some time with Chuck. T’ira helps him pick out two plants from hydroponics to take back to his room.

DAY 4

Ullu, th’Aenar and Sun get together for the first part of the holonovel “Spirit of Adventure”.
Doctor Vier contacts Doctor Uhen to request access to sickbay and mentoring for Sarza.
Doctor Del has a session with Chuck. (Chuck calls Korin at the end.)
Naja has a serious talk with Chuck about the agenda at R&D.

DAY 5

Del and Naja meet to discuss the day’s plan of introducing Korin to Chuck. The two kids seem to hit it off, spending the day working on a model of the Sagan and watching movies.
Naja and Jarit meet to discuss the interaction of the boys.

DAY 6

Naja and Chuck check in with his R+D team. Chuck is given a thought exercise where he imagines a frightening scenario and goes into a panic.
Sun, th’Aenar and Ullu convene to discuss the details of the crew’s first away mission.
Jarit checks in on the wellbeing of the IYMPs.
Doctor Uhen and Nurse Kotri run their first test simulations on the Emma program.
Kotri attempts to track down Naja through unconventional means.
After the stressful morning of Talak’s thought experiment, Chuck and Naja build a blanket fort together.
Commander th’Aenar approaches Naja about an upcoming away mission.
Jacob and Korin get together in the observation lounge.

DAY 7

Naja meets with Jarit to discuss Chuck’s reaction to Talak’s thought experiment.
With the knowledge that Sarza will be visiting the sickbay in a few days, Doctor Uhen reluctantly reaches out to LT CMDR Del for some words of wisdom about the daunting prospect of spending time with a young person.
In the holodeck, Jarit Del introduces Chuck to some extremely daunting existential concepts, most of which Chuck is unable to comprehend and results in some system overheating.
In the IYMP bay, Tal gets a minor injury which Sarza repairs with skill.

DAY 8

The Hanorak away mission takes place.
Lieutenant sh’Vanith stops by the sickbay to run diagnostics on the Emma holoprojector system. In her conversation with Doctor Uhen, it becomes clear that she doesn’t think much of the Emma program.
Sessik arrives for one of the check up appointments he’s been having regularly since the azulosis outbreak. He reports, somewhat reluctantly, to Doctor Uhen that during meditation he has been witnessing ‘dreams’ of T’ira’s memories

DAY 9

The lemur was discovered.
Korin had a dream about a Borg Chuck
Captain Sun visited Jarit in the morning.
Rawlings announced the formation of the soccer team.
A subspace meeting with V’leth took place.
Chuck helped T’ira in the hydroponics bay.
Jacob announced DnD.

DAY 10

The first soccer practice

Sessik told T’ira about a rather intimate memory of hers that he recalled. They did yoga for the first time.
Jarit lured Rabbit into the holodeck.

DAY 11

The reconnection away mission

Rawlings stopped by in sickbay with a mysterious sprained elbow
With the help of Doctor Del, Ensign Patel records a full report of his experience with the Hanorak Lifeform.
Sarza is required to report to Captain Sun for a review of her paper re: the dangers of lemur smuggling.
Doctor Jenkins, Doctor Uhen and Nurse Kotri start their collaboration of upgrading th’Aenar’s prosthetics. They hope to be ready for surgery in 9 days.

DAY 12

Talak performs a thought experiment with Chuck which uncovered memories that were expected to have been erased. The memories were of the Breen attack on San Francisco during the Dominion War.
Doctor Del crosses paths with Othos and they talk about dadly things.

DAY 13

T’ira and Naja dealt with the fallout of Talak’s thought experiment. It didn’t go well.
The kids went to Hawaii.

DAY 14

T’ira and Sessik yoga’d, Sessik announces he is quitting soccer
Patel doesn’t sleep and goes to sickbay (and is bugged by Rawlings.)
Rawlings bothers T’ira in the IYMP bay, welcomes her to the soccer team and tries to gossip about Sessik. He tries to win over the kids but his loud personality falls flat with the students.
In the afternoon, Othos and Tabitha share frustration about Raban’s refusal to see Dr. Del for the sake of his mental health. They confront Commander th’Aenar over dinner which is emotional for everyone. In the conversation, th’Aenar tells his parents of a Trill that he befriended during Starfleet Academy. The Trill turned out to be host to the same symbiont, Res, as a figure from Raban’s past in the 22nd century, Siriam Res. And it seems that the Del symbiont has a connection with that same Siriam Res.

DAY 15

Soccer stuff
Palau asks T’ira out on a date
Medical stuff is ahead of schedule

DAY 16

T’ira got the call from Sen
Naja convened with Jarit and T’ira and had some rather cryptic comments about
th’Aenar had breakfast with his parents
Rawlings visited sickbay…again
th’Aenar’s surgery happened very successfully!
Rawlings had a brief session with Jarit
Uhen and Kotri went hiking to blow off some after surgery energy and Uhen invited Kotri to dinner
They had dinner. It was highly awkward.
A lot of people got an invite to a dinner party hosted by Dr. Jenkins

DAY 17

Naja met with Jarit to report Chuck’s nerfing
Chuck was awakened and it was a disaster straight out of the gate
Patel had a space out moment and he and Rawlings had a meal
Naja expelled Jarit and he had a heated argument with Vier
The kids managed to get Sarza an invite to the dinner party
Jarit went to Dr Uhen who found his isoboromine levels to be low. She contacted a Trill doctor for advice on treating unbalanced symbionts.
Jarit went home and experienced a hallucination of Joza
Othos stopped by hydroponics to get some produce from T’ira
th’Aenar contacts Dr. Uhen to offer his gratitude and request her help in planning a surprise for his mother.

DAY 18

Jarit is rather cavalier about his health but he does meet with T’ira to ask if she can keep an eye on Korin if things were to take a turn.
The students make plans for Lizo and Zoli’s appearance at the evening’s dinner party.
Kotri frets at Patel about going to a party where she is vastly outranked by everyone other than the children.
Dr. Jenkins reveals to Raban and Othos that the location (in the holodeck) of the party will be their home back on Andoria and the family begins preparations for the evening.

Toward the end of the party, th’Aenar and Jarit have a very intense conversation.

DAY 19

Kotri starts the day by filling in Patel on all the happenings at the dinner party.
T’ira and Naja meet up for breakfast where they discuss dinosaurs and what direction to take Chuck’s development program.
Doctor Del makes his way to the sickbay where it’s decided to contact the Symbiosis Commission. Ultimately, Jarit is relieved of duty until a Trill Symbiont Guardian can visit the ship and perform a jian’tara ritual.
Jarit and th’Aenar make amends.
T’ira and Naja awaken Chuck and have a conversation about animals.
Captain Sun and Commander th’Aenar have a meeting with Del’s case manager, Commissioner Karm, to get clued in to the details of the upcoming jian’tara. They are informed that the Commission will also be sending a Trill initiate in the unfortunate and unlikely event of Jarit’s death.
Following the call, Sun and th’Aenar meet to discuss. They also re-initiate the Bridge and th’Aenar makes lunch.
Jarit updates Dr. Vier on his situation.
Dr. Uhen speaks with Commissioner Karm and is also informed about the initiate coming from Trill. She is asked if she is willing to perform the surgery to transfer the symbiont in the event of Jarit’s death.
Jarit talks to Korin about his health condition. th’Aenar stops by to offer a homemade dinner for them.
th’Aenar then stops by sickbay to discuss Jarit’s situation with Dr Uhen.
Chuck went to Tuolumne Meadows for the first time
In the guest quarters, th’Aenar spends the evening with his parents for dinner and cards.
Sarza receives a communique from Lieutenant Naja inviting her to interview to spend time with Chuck.
Jarit is now making twice daily visits to the sickbay for isoboromine infusions and Korin goes with him.

DAY 20

Dr. Del makes plans with Dr Uhen to work on the tank in his office. His day is made better by the good news about Chuck’s joyful day at the meadow.
In the observation lounge, T’ira spends some personal time with Jarit and updates him on the recent happenings in her personal life.
Lieutenant Naja stops by sickbay and convinces Nurse Kotri to give her a stimulant because she’s been up all night writing reports. Dr Uhen updates Kotri on Jarit’s medical details, including discussing emergency surgery,
Sarza interviews with Naja to participate in Project Blueblood.
Chuck got to have a call with Vier and met Sarza. He took Sarza to the meadow, where they created a space for Naja to take a nap.
th’Aenar stops by again with dinner for Jarit and Korin.
Late at night, Patel has another blanking experience and has a late night trip to sickbay with Kotri. On the brighter side, he gets a letter from Data.

DAY 21

Patel had another space out and Kotri helped him get checked in sickbay
Sun and Jarit spent a bit of time together, chatting about her holonovel
Sun then had lunch with Ullu and th’Aenar
Jarit requested that Uhen participate in his xhian’tara
A medical mystery unfolded in the evening which led to some very intense melding of minds.
After T’ira and th’Aenar were dismissed, Uhen and Kotri tackled some extensive research. Eventually Kotri fell asleep and Uhen left.
T’ira and th’Aenar had a moment together discussing guilt and being there for each other.
T’ira contacted her mom for support.
Then th’Aenar went home and also got some family support.
After dinner, the captain reported some unsettling news about Hanorak to th’Aenar
In the night, T’ira had a nightmare that spread to th’Aenar and then through the bridge system. The Warren family rushed to T’ira’s quarters to wake her from the nightmare.

DAY 22

A low key soccer practice took place
Jarit and Naja got together for a sort of casual time and Naja convinced him to bring Korin to the holodeck with herself and Chuck.
After recovering in the morning after an unpleasant night, Rabbit came to sickbay, where he checked in with Dr. Uhen and reported the dream incident on the Bridge. He then spoke with T’ira. They decided to keep the Bridge intact for another day.
Korin and Jarit shared some excitement about going to see Chuck and then spent a pleasant afternoon playing and lounging in Tuolumne Meadows.
T’ira received a message from Sen and immediately sent a message to Jarit, requesting tea in the morning.
After an intense discussion, the Warren family decided that they would put in a request for Othos to stay on the ship while Jenkins returned to Andoria.
Ullu meets with Patel to review his letter to Data.

DAY 23

In the early morning, Jarit sends a letter to Res which when received caused Res to have a mental breakdown.
Jarit and T’ira get together to talk about T’ira’s complicated relationship prospects.
T’ira and Palau had a date in the Brazilian rainforest.
Jacob told Korin that he was going to interview to meet Chuck.
Contact was made with the Gimenja.
It was revealed that the Gimenja crew is in possession of a vile Bajoran collaborator, Jarka Kruuth, who is to be executed on Bajor. Plans are made to transport the team and their small ship to Nova station, where they will be picked up by a faster ship and taken to Bajor at warp 9.
The visitors are welcomed aboard the ship and the prisoner transported to the brig, where Pra’ali pressures Kotri into doing a shabby job of healing the beaten old man.
In the sickbay, Uhen examines the rest of the Gimenja crew and starts devising a treatment plan to address their old injuries properly.
After Pra’ali is also treated, the guests are shown to their quarters.
In the brig, the prisoner starts moaning and asking for a doctor. Patel contacts Uhen and both Uhen and Kotri arrive to assess him. Uhen finds Kotri’s shoddy work and makes the decision to properly heal Jarka.
Sun, Ullu, th’Aenar and Uhen meet to discuss the Bajoran situation. They talk about security measures and Doctor Uhen conveys Jarka’s physical state and the fact that she made the call to properly heal him.
In their room, the crew of the Gimenja spend some time together before calling the captain for their tour. Upon arrival, Captain Sun delivers the news that Doctor Uhen healed Jarka. Pra’ali is highly displeased.
Praali confronts Uhen about her choice to heal Jarka.
Sun briefs Ullu and th’Aenar on the situation and has a brief individual chat with each.
Kotri contacts her sister to talk about the events of the day.
After taking some time to himself in the Gimenja, Pra’ali returns to the Bajoran guest quarters where an argument with Ailani ensues. Pra’ali storms back to the Gimenja and Emal follows him. Together they go back to the Gimenja to share thoughts and a meal.
Naja has to tell Chuck that because of their guests and upcoming plans, he will have to be in lockdown in his room for 7 days. Chuck is beside himself.
In the evening, Naja and T’ira met to play a game of chess and talk about the kids.

DAY 24

On the morning of day 24, Patel and Kotri talk in their bunk about the prisoner and Kotri tells him that she thinks Jarka recognizes her.
Once she makes it to sickbay, Kotri is contacted by Rawlings because Jarka is asking for her again. When she goes to the brig to examine him, Jarka blackmails her, demanding that she bring him something to end his life.
Ullu, Sun, th’Aenar and Uhen share a Bajoran breakfast. During their meal, Uhen is contacted by Ailani who apologizes for Pra’ali’s behavior. She makes plans to have dinner with Ailani and Jikoor. Ullu talks about the personal significance of her earring and considers challenging Pra’ali to an arm wrestling match.
Kotri takes Patel to have a private conversation in a shuttlecraft where she tells him about Jarka’s threat and admits that she comes from a family of Collaborators who raised their daughters to be comfort women. She tells him how she ended up in the Resistance.
Patel accompanies Kotri to the sickbay where she reports to Doctor Uhen about Jarka’s attempted blackmail and admits that she was raised by Collaborators. She also tells them about how the Cardassians are responsible for her synthetic organ transplants. Uhen assures her that her position on the Sagan is in no danger. Kotri also tells Uhen about her sister back on Bajor, whose brain was damaged by a Cardassian poisoning. Uhen promises to help Kotri with her research to help Elke.
On the morning of day 24, Jarit and T’ira get together for tea to talk about T’ira’s date with Palau. Jarit shares his anxiety about approaching th’Aenar about participating in his zhiantara.
Chuck and Jacob meet for the first time.
A nervous Jarit Del speaks to Commander th’Aenar about embodying Joza Del for the upcoming ritual. They talk about Siriam Res and what to expect from the ritual and ultimately th’Aenar agrees.
